Secrets management

Secrets management is the process of managing sensitive information such as passwords, encryption keys, certificates, and other secrets that can be used to access data or systems.

In Selectel, to store sensitive data and manage certificates, use Secrets Manager. Secrets are stored in encrypted form (AES 256-GCM). When transferring retrieved data, TLS encryption is used — this provides protection against data interception, modification, and disclosure.
