# VMware-based Public Cloud compliance with 152-FZ

The VMware-based Public Cloud complies with the requirements of Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" by default — you can store and process users' personal data of the first security level (UZ-1).

The cost of Public Cloud resources includes compliance with 152-FZ requirements that fall under Selectel’s area of responsibility.

## Areas of responsibility \{#areas-of-responsibility}

* creation and management of a virtual data center, including objects within it:

  * vApp Network;
  * Org VDC Network;
  * virtual machines;
  * Edge rule configuration (NAT, Firewall, VPN, DHCP);
* performance of operating system services and components within virtual machines, including VMware Tools™, databases and applications, and ensuring their information security.

Selectel ensures the security of:

* the physical level: security and fire alarm systems, access control systems, video surveillance, redundancy of engineering systems;
* the infrastructure level: VMware vSphere® platform, VMware vSAN® storage platform, VMware NSX® network services, VMware Cloud Director® control panel;
* administrator workstations.
