Manage PTR records

A PTR record, or reverse resource record, allows you to assign a name (domain) to an IP address. For example, mail servers check the PTR record of the sender's IP address.

If the IP address is used in region Tashkent, Almaty or Nairobi, then to add, amend or delete its PTR record file a ticket.

Add PTR record

  1. In control panel go to Network servicesIP addresses.
  2. On the menu. IP addresses select Add PTR.
  3. Enter the domain name (of the form example.com).
  4. Click Save.

Change PTR record

  1. In control panel go to Network servicesIP addresses.
  2. On the menu. IP addresses select Edit PTR.
  3. Enter a new domain name (of the form example.com).
  4. Click Save.

Delete PTR record

  1. In control panel go to Network servicesIP addresses.
  2. On the menu. IP addresses select Delete PTR.
  3. Click Delete.
