Give up the domain
You can give up a domain in two ways:
- disable auto-renewal — the domain will be assigned to you until the end of the end of the priority renewal period and will be deleted after that;
- delete domain — domain will be deleted immediately.
You may not abandon a domain if, at the time of deletion or the time of expiration of the preferential renewal period:
- domain transferred to Selectel less than 30 days ago;
- the domain administrator changed less than 30 days ago;
- Selectel has previously requested supporting documentation and you have not provided it;
- there's a lawsuit pending over the domain.
Disable auto-renewal
The domain will be assigned to you until the end of the grace period, during which time you can renew the domain manually. At the end of the grace period, the administrator data will be cleared and the domain name will no longer point to the IP addresses bound to it. The domain will be deleted from the control panel.

Delete domain
Within 24 hours after deletion, the administrator data will be cleared and the domain name will no longer point to the IP addresses bound to it. The domain will be deleted from the control panel.
