Protect the area from removal

If you enable delete protection for a zone, it cannot be deleted until you remove the protection.

When protection is enabled, you can work with the zone's resource records without restrictions — add, modify, and delete records.

Enable deletion protection⁠

1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select DNS hosting.
2. From the menu of the zone, select Protect zone from deletion.
3. Click Protect.

Remove protection against deletion⁠

1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select DNS hosting.
2. From the zone menu, select Unprotect from deletion.
3. Click Unprotect.
