# PostgreSQL PGVector versions and configurations

## Versions \{#versions}

PostgreSQL versions 15, 16, 17, and 18 are supported. A specific PGVector version is installed for each PostgreSQL version. You can [find out the PGVector version](#find-out-pgvector-version) after [creating a cluster](/managed-databases/pgvector/create-cluster.mdx).

### Find out the PGVector version \{#find-out-pgvector-version}

To find out which PGVector version is installed in your cluster, run the SQL query:

```sql
SELECT installed_version FROM pg_available_extensions WHERE name = 'pgvector';
```
