Methods for connecting Public Cloud to a Global Router

VMware-based Public Cloud can be connected to the Selectel Global Router to route traffic at L3 between public cloud virtual machines and other Selectel products.

You can configure connectivity using one of three scenarios. In each scenario, a subnet will be created in the public cloud, but the connectivity management options will differ.

The connection speed between the public cloud and the Global Router is limited to 1 Gbps. To increase the bandwidth, submit a ticket.

1. A new subnet for connecting virtual machines without a customer Edge Gateway2. An interconnect subnet added to the customer Edge Gateway with static routes configured3. A public cloud interconnect subnet added to the customer Edge Gateway with a BGP session configured
