Configure network access to the UserGate firewall

By default, connection to the graphical or console interface of the firewall is allowed for all addresses.

You can restrict the list of addresses from which access will be allowed.

  1. Connect to the firewall.

  2. Go to Settings → Network → Zones.

  3. Click the zone name Management.

  4. Open the Access control tab.

  5. Make sure that in the row of the service for which you want to configure access, the checkbox is selected:

    • Administration console — to access the GUI;
    • CLI via SSH — to access the console interface.

  6. In the row of the service you want to configure access to, click Any.

  7. Click Add.

  8. Enter the IP address from which you will connect to the service, including the subnet mask.

  9. Save the changes.
