Configure network access to the UserGate firewall

By default, connection to the graphical or console interface of the firewall is allowed for all addresses.

You can restrict the list of addresses from which access will be allowed.

  1. Connect to the firewall.

  2. Go to the Settings → Network → Zones.

  3. Click the Management zone name.

  4. Open the Access Control tab.

  5. Make sure that in the row of the service for which you want to configure access, the checkbox is selected:

    • Administration console — for access to the graphical interface;
    • CLI via SSH — for access to the console interface.

  6. In the row of the service for which you want to configure access, click Any.

  7. Click Add.

  8. Enter the IP address from which you will connect to the service, including the subnet mask.

  9. Save the changes.
