  3. Check connectivity.

1. Connect to your Selectel firewall

  1. Open the following page in your browser:

    https://<ip_address>:5443

Enter <ip_address> — the firewall IP address.

  2. Enter the username and password obtained in the ticket after ordering the firewall. The main page of the graphical interface with the dashboard will open.

2. Create a Virtual IP

  1. In the Firewall menu, go to the Virtual IPs.
  2. Click + Add.
  3. In the Type field, select IP Alias.
  4. In the Interface field, select the interface you are configuring.
  5. In the Address(es) field, enter the IP address used as a secondary IP.
  6. Click SaveApply Changes.

3. Check connectivity

  1. In the Diagnostics menu, go to the Ping.
  2. In the Hostname field, enter the device IP address.
  3. In the IP Protocol field, select the IP protocol version.
  4. In the Source address field, select the address from which the ping request will be sent.
  5. Click Ping.
  6. Make sure that connectivity exists. If there is no connectivity, check the Virtual IP settings.
