Set up virtual IP addresses
Virtual IP addresses are used to configure multiple IP addresses from different subnets, including private ones, on a single network interface.
1. Connect to your Selectel firewall

Open the following page in your browser:
https://<ip_address>:5443Enter
<ip_address>— the firewall IP address. -
Enter the username and password obtained in the ticket after ordering the firewall. The main page of the graphical interface with the dashboard will open.
2. Create a Virtual IP
- In the Firewall menu, go to the Virtual IPs.
- Click + Add.
- In the Type field, select IP Alias.
- In the Interface field, select the interface you are configuring.
- In the Address(es) field, enter the IP address used as a secondary IP.
- Click Save → Apply Changes.
3. Check connectivity
- In the Diagnostics menu, go to the Ping.
- In the Hostname field, enter the device IP address.
- In the IP Protocol field, select the IP protocol version.
- In the Source address field, select the address from which the ping request will be sent.
- Click Ping.
- Make sure that connectivity exists. If there is no connectivity, check the Virtual IP settings.
