# Change an IP address on a network interface

1. [Connect to the Selectel firewall via the graphical interface](/firewalls/selectel/connect-to-firewall.mdx#connect-to-firewall-through-gui).
2. In the **Interfaces** menu, go to the **Assignments**.
3. Open the **Interface Assignments**.
4. Click the name of the network interface.
5. Enable the interface by checking the **Enable interface**.
6. In the **Static IPv4 Configuration** block, in the **IPv4 Address** field, change the IP address.
7. Optional: make changes to other network interface settings.
8. Click **Save** → **Apply Changes**.
