Save and load Selectel firewall configuration file

You can create a backup of the configuration file to save your Selectel firewall settings. To restore the settings, load the configuration file.

Create a configuration file backup

  1. Connect to the Selectel firewall via the graphical interface.
  2. In the Diagnostics menu, go to the Backup & Restore.
  3. Open the Backup & Restore tab.
  4. In the Backup Configuration block, configure the export settings.
  5. Click Download configuration as XML.

Load configuration file

  1. Connect to the Selectel firewall via the graphical interface.
  2. In the Diagnostics menu, go to the Backup & Restore.
  3. Open the Backup & Restore → Restore Backup block.
  4. Select the backup file.
  5. In the Restore ares field, choose the area to restore.
  6. Click Restore Configuration.
