# Order a virtual firewall

## 1. Order a firewall \{#order-firewall}

1. [Top up your balance](/balance-and-payments/manage/top-up-balance.mdx).

2. In the [Control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/firewalls), in the top menu click **Products** and select **Firewalls**.

3. Click **Connect services**.

4. In the **Virtual Firewalls** block, select the [virtual firewall model](/firewalls/order/firewall-types.mdx#virtual-firewalls).

5. Click **Order**.

6. Optional: to create a fault-tolerant cluster of two firewalls, specify the quantity — 2.

7. If you have funds on your main balance and bonuses, choose which [balance](/balance-and-payments/balance.mdx) to pay from.

8. Check the price.

9. Click **Pay**. After payment, a ticket for the service order will be created.

## 2. Deploy the image on the device \{#deploy-virtual-firewall}

1. wait for a response from a Selectel employee in the ticket confirming that the firewall image is ready. In the ticket, we will provide the image and a PIN code for license activation. If you selected a fault-tolerant cluster in step 6 when [ordering the firewall in step 1](#order-firewall), it will be included in the license.

2. Deploy the UserGate VE firewall image:

   * on a [cloud server](/firewalls/usergate/deploy-virtual-usergate-on-cloud-server.mdx);
   * or in a [public or private cloud based on VMware](/firewalls/usergate/deploy-virtual-usergate-in-vmware.mdx).
