Failover

Last update:

In case of a primary site failure, you must manually start the replicated virtual machine at the backup site.

In this guide, failover is considered on the Selectel side. If, after a failure, you have access to the Cloud Availability of your cloud or On-Premises, you can switch to the Selectel cloud in your cloud interface.

  5. In the All actions menu, select Failover.

  6. Optional: to consolidate several separate replication instances, select the Consolidate VM disks.

  7. Optional: to power on the virtual machine after recovery, select the Power on recovered VMs.

  8. In the Network Settings block, choose whether to connect the virtual machine to a specific network or use pre-configured network parameters.

  9. Click Next.
