Connect to Cloud Availability in Selectel

Connect to the Selectel cloud before creating the first replication job.

If you are configuring replication for a third-party provider's public cloud, before connecting to the Selectel cloud, you must configure connectivity between sites. If you are configuring disaster recovery for a private cloud or on-premises infrastructure, connectivity will be configured automatically after deploying a virtual machine from a template and specifying an endpoint.

  1. From the Control Panel, open the Cloud Director panel: in the top menu, click Products → VMware-based Cloud → the Cloud Director section.
  2. In the Menu, select Availability.
  3. Go to the Peer Sites section.
  4. If you are configuring cloud-to-cloud disaster recovery, in the Cloud sites block, select a site.
  5. If you are configuring on-premises-to-cloud disaster recovery, in the On-Premises sites block, select a site.
  6. Click LOGIN.
  7. Enter the Selectel cloud credentials in the format administrator-<s-xxxx>@<s-xxxx>, where <s-xxxx> is the organization name, which can be found in the Cloud Director address bar or in the Control Panel in the VMware-based Cloud section in the list of organizations. You can view the login and change the password in the Control Panel in the VMware-based Cloud → Users section. Upon successful connection, for the Selectel cloud, in the Management Session column, a green mark will appear .
