# Connect to Cloud Availability in Selectel

You must connect to the Selectel cloud before [creating the first replication job](/draas/manage/manage-tasks.mdx#create-replication-job).

If you are setting up replication for a third-party public cloud, you must [set up site-to-site connectivity](/draas/connect-draas/connect-draas-vcda.mdx#connect-disaster-recovery) before connecting to the Selectel cloud. If you are setting up disaster recovery for a private cloud or On-Premises infrastructure, connectivity will be set up automatically after you deploy a virtual machine from a template and specify the endpoint.

1. From the [control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/vmware/), open the Cloud Director panel: in the top menu, click **Products** → **VMware-based Cloud** → the **Cloud Director**.
2. In the **Menu**, select **Availability**.
3. Go to the **Peer Sites**.
4. If you are setting up disaster recovery from cloud to cloud, in the **Cloud sites** block, select a site.
5. If you are setting up disaster recovery from On-Premises to cloud, in the **On-Premises sites** block, select a site.
6. Click **LOGIN**.
7. Enter your Selectel cloud credentials in the format `administrator-<s-xxxx>@<s-xxxx>`, where `<s-xxxx>` is the organization name, which you can find in the Cloud Director address bar or in the [control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/vmware/) in the **VMware-based cloud** section in the list of organizations. You can view your login and change your password in the [control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/vmware/public/default/user) in the **VMware-based cloud** → **Users** section. Upon a successful connection, a green checkmark **Management Session** will appear in the column for the Selectel cloud <CircleCheckIcon />.
