Delegate a domain to third-party hosting

When you register a domain with Selectel or transfer it to Selectel from another registrar, management of domain resource records is automatically delegated to Selectel DNS hosting. If you want to manage domain resource records through a third-party DNS hosting, you need to delegate the domain — change NS servers of the domain to the NS servers of this hosting.

Change NS servers

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Domains.

  2. In the domain menu, select Change NS servers.

  3. Enter the NS server names; you must specify at least two servers.

  4. Optional: if you want to specify another NS server, click Add NS server and enter its name.

  5. Click Save. The changes will propagate to caching servers within 72 hours.
