Order a dedicated server of prebuilt configuration

  1. Select a server configuration.
  2. Order a server.

1. Select a server configuration

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu click Products and select Dedicated servers.

  2. Select a project.

  3. If there are created servers in the project, in the Servers section click Order server. If there are no servers in the project, the order page will open automatically.

  4. Optional: configure filter settings to find a server with the required configuration. If no suitable servers are available, change the filter settings or order a dedicated server of custom configuration.

  5. Select a server with the required configuration — click the server card to proceed to placing your order.

2. Place an order

  1. On the Order placement tab, verify the dedicated server configuration.

  2. Check the region and pool where your server will be located. If necessary, change the region and pool. Once the order is placed, you cannot change the region and pool.

  3. Select an operating system for automatic installation on the server. To select:

  4. Optional: select the system disk on which the OS will be installed. If you selected a Linux-based OS in step 3, you can partition disks and configure software RAID.

  5. Optional: for a secure connection to the server via the encrypted SSH protocol, select a previously uploaded and added SSH key or add a new one. Learn more in the instructions on how to Create and upload an SSH key on a dedicated server.

  6. Optional: if you have a Linux-based OS, the User data field will be available. To automate server configuration, specify server configuration parameters in cloud-config or bash script format. For details, see the section User data examples.

  7. Select a traffic consumption model.

  8. Select a tariff plan.

  9. Specify the required number of servers. If the required quantity is out of stock, click Notify when available and create a ticket.

  10. Optional: configure IP addresses. If you selected an OS for automatic installation in step 3, the network interface on the server will be configured automatically with the configured IP addresses.

10.1. Configure the public network; to do this, select a VLAN:

10.2. Configure the private network. An IP address from a private subnet can be assigned to a local port of a prebuilt server with a single 1 Gbps network card if a private VLAN is already allocated in the pool and a Linux-based OS is selected for automatic installation.

To assign a private IP address, select Assign IP address from private subnet:

  11. Optional: on the Additional services tab, view the list of additional services. You can order additional services after the server is handed over.

  12. Confirm that you agree to the payment terms.

  13. Click Pay now.

  14. Review the order details and click Pay. When the server is ready for handover, you will receive an email notification and will be able to connect to it. The paid period starts from the moment the server is handed over. The server password will be available for viewing for 24 hours from the server handover. If you forgot the password, you can reset and recover it. After ordering, you can only upgrade components — drives, memory, GPU.
