Order a dedicated server of prebuilt configuration

  1. Select a server configuration.

1. Select a server configuration

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu click Products and select Dedicated servers.

  2. Select a project.

  3. If there are created servers in the project, in the Servers section, click Order Server. If there are no servers in the project, the order page will open automatically.

  4. Optional: configure filter settings to find a server with the required configuration. If no suitable servers are available, change the filter settings or order a dedicated server of custom configuration.

  5. Select a server with the required configuration — click the server card to proceed to placing your order.

2. Place an order

  1. On the Order placement tab, verify the dedicated server configuration.

  2. Check the region and pool where your server will be hosted. If necessary, change the region and pool. Once the order has been placed, you cannot change the region and pool.

  3. Select an operating system for automatic installation on the server. To select:

  4. Optional: select a system disk on which the OS will be installed. If you selected a Linux-based OS in step 3, you can partition disks and configure a software RAID.

  5. Optional: to connect to the server securely via the encrypted SSH protocol, select a previously uploaded and placed SSH key or add a new one. Read more in the Create and upload an SSH key to a dedicated server guide.

  6. Optional: if you have a Linux-based OS, the User data field will be available. To automate server setup, specify the server configuration parameters in cloud-config or bash script format. Read more in the User data examples section.

  7. Select a traffic consumption model.

  8. Select a pricing plan.

  9. Specify the required number of servers. If the required number is not available, click Notify about availability and create a ticket.

  10. Optional: configure IP addresses. If you selected an OS for auto-installation in step 3, the network interface on the server will be automatically configured with the set IP addresses.

    10.1. Configure a public network, to do this select a VLAN:

    10.2. Configure a private network. An IP address from a private subnet can be assigned to the local port of a prebuilt server with a single 1 Gbit/s network card, if a private VLAN is already allocated in the pool and a Linux-based OS is selected for automatic installation.

    To assign a private IP address, select Assign IP address from a private subnet:

  11. Optional: on the Additional services tab, see the list of additional services. You can order additional services after the server is provisioned.

  12. Confirm that you agree to the payment terms.

  13. Click Pay now.

  14. Review the order information and click Pay. When the server is ready to be provisioned, you will receive an email notification and will be able to connect to it. The paid period begins from the moment the server is provisioned. The server password will be viewable for 24 hours from the time the server is provisioned. If you forget your password, you can reset and recover it. After ordering, you can only upgrade components — disks, memory, GPU.
