Manage dedicated server power

You can manage the operation of a dedicated server:

Turn off the server

When a dedicated server is powered off, the server and all additional services continue to be charged: network volumes, dedicated subnets, and more.

  1. In the control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Dedicated servers.

  2. In the server card, click the toggle.

  3. Click Power Off Server.

  4. Wait for the server to power off; it will switch to the Power off status. When powering off a server, the operating system will shut down correctly, and the power will be turned off. If the server does not respond within a certain time, it will be shut down forcibly. If a forced shutdown occurs, unsaved data may be lost.

Turn on the server

  1. In the Control panel, click Products in the top menu and select Dedicated Servers.

  2. In the server card, click the toggle.

  3. Click Power On Server.

  4. Wait for the server to power on; it will switch to the Power on status.

Restart the server

The server will reboot without being powered off. During a reboot, the server shuts down and immediately turns on; in this case, unsaved data may be lost.

  1. In the Control panel, click Products in the top menu and select Dedicated Servers.

  2. Open the server page → in the menu, select Reboot Server.

  3. Click Reboot Server.

  4. Wait for the server to reboot; it will switch to the Power on status.
