Manage the power supply to the dedicated server

Last update:

You can manage the operation of the dedicated server:

Shut down the server

If the dedicated server is turned off, the server and all additional services continue to be paid for: network disks, dedicated subnets, and more.

  1. In the Control Panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Dedicated Servers.

  2. In the server card, click the toggle switch.

  3. Click Shut down the server.

  4. Wait for the server to shut down, it will go to Power off status. When the server shuts down, the operating system will shut down correctly and the power will be turned off. If the server does not respond within a certain time, the server will be stopped forcibly. In case of forced shutdown, unsaved data may be lost.

Turn on the server

  1. In the Control Panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Dedicated Servers.

  2. In the server card, click the toggle switch.

  3. Click Enable Server.

  4. Wait for the server to turn on, it will go to Power on status.

Restart the server

The server will reboot without powering down. When rebooting, the server shuts down and immediately powers up - unsaved data may be lost in this case.

  1. In the Control Panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Dedicated Servers.

  2. Open the server page → from the menu, select Restart Server.

  3. Click Restart Server.

  4. Wait for the server to reboot, it will go to Power on status.
