# Remote Desktop Payment Model and Prices

## Balance

To pay for remote desktop rental, depending on the balance type in your account, a [unified balance](/balance-and-payments/balance.mdx#united-balance) or [main balance](/balance-and-payments/balance.mdx#balances-by-service-type) is used. Funds are deducted from the balance every month in accordance with the [payment model](#payment-model).

You can pay for computing resources using different [types of funds](/balance-and-payments/balance.mdx#funds-types): basic funds or bonuses.

Before ordering or setting up remote desktops, [top up your balance](/balance-and-payments/manage/top-up-balance.mdx).

## Payment Model \{#payment-model}

Remote desktop rental is billed monthly. Once the first paid period ends, a monthly payment will be activated. If you no longer need the service, you can [cancel the remote desktop](/daas/about/disable-daas/) — it will continue to work until the end of the paid period and will then be deleted.

## Blocking resources due to insufficient balance \{#insufficient-balance}

If there is not enough money on the balance to pay for the next billing period, remote desktop operation is suspended.

Data on disks will be stored for seven calendar days. If no payment is received, all data will be deleted without the possibility of recovery.

To restore access, [top up your balance](/balance-and-payments/manage/top-up-balance.mdx) and pay for the service. So that there is always enough money on your balance, you can set up [balance notifications](/balance-and-payments/manage/balance-notifications.mdx) and [automatic balance top-up](/balance-and-payments/manage/scheduled-payments.mdx).
