Manage protection plans

A protection plan can be used for multiple virtual machines. Multiple plans can be used for a single virtual machine. For details, see the Protection plan guide in the Cyber Backup Cloud documentation.

Create a protection plan

  1. In the Cyber Backup panel, go to Devices → All devices.
  2. Select the machines for which you want to create a protection plan.
  3. Click Protect → Create plan.
  4. Optional: change the plan name.
  5. Configure the protection and backup plan parameters. For details, see the Protection plan: cheat sheet guide in the Cyber Backup Cloud documentation.
  6. If you need to protect an Active Directory, MS SQL, or MS Exchange server, click Application backup, turn on the toggle switch, and click OK.
  7. Click Create. The actual start of the protection plan may occur with a delay of up to 30 minutes due to load balancing.

Apply a protection plan

  1. In the Cyber Backup panel, go to Devices → All devices.
  2. Select the machines to which you want to apply a protection plan.
  3. In the row with the protection plan, click Apply.
