Restrict access to the account

By default, access to the account is allowed from all IP addresses. The Account Owner and User Admin can restrict access to the account — users can only log in to the account from IP addresses and subnets that the Account Owner and User Admin can access. added on the authorized list.

Access restriction applies to logging in through the control panel and accessing the API at addresses that include https://api.selectel.ru. More information about API access and authorization in the instructions Authorization.

Access restrictions do not apply to outer panel.

Add an address

  1. In control panel go to Identity & Access ManagementAccess restriction.

  2. Click Add addresses.

  3. Before adding an IP address, make sure that the IP address is static. Check with your ISP for the type of address.

  4. Enter an address. You can add:

    • IPv4 address;
    • IPv6 address;
    • subnet in the format 55.55.55.55.55/29.

    To retain access to your account, first add your current IP address.

  5. Optional: Enter a comment. For example, specify to whom the specified IP address or subnet belongs. The maximum length of the comment is 256 characters.

  6. Optional: to add another address, press Add another address and repeat steps 4-5.

  7. Click Add.

  8. Sessions from addresses that are not listed will be terminated and access to the account from them will be denied.

Delete address

The Account Owner and User Administrator can delete one address or all addresses from which access to the account is allowed. If all addresses are deleted, all restrictions will be removed and users will be able to access the account from any address.

  1. In control panel go to Identity & Access ManagementAccess restriction.
  2. On the menu. addresses select Delete.
  3. To confirm the deletion, enter the address.
  4. Click Delete.
