Registration in the control panel

You can register an account on selectel.ru; this creates the primary user — the Account Owner. Additional account users can join the account by invitation if invited by the Account Owner.

The details you enter during registration will be displayed in your profile. The set of fields depends on the account type and user role. For more information on how to change user details and roles, see the instructions Change User Details or Permissions and Change Profile or Company Details.

After registration, you can manage Selectel products through the my.selectel.ru control panel, API, or Terraform. Records of resource operations and other account events are stored in audit logs.

Account types

When you sign up, you can choose your account type:

• personal account — for individuals;
• business account — for legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, and government agencies.

The account type and country of residence determine the available balance top-up methods. You cannot change the account type after registration.

Register an account in the control panel

After registration, a new account will be created and a user with the Account Owner role will be added.

Personal account

1. On selectel.ru, in the top right corner, click Create Account.
2. Fill out the registration form.
3. Click Create Account.
4. We will send an email with a confirmation link to the email address provided.
5. In the email, click Confirm Email. The confirmation link can only be used once.
6. In the Personal information section, select the country of residence.
7. Select the account type. The type cannot be changed later.
8. Enter the requested data.
9. Accept the terms.
10. Click Continue.
11. Enter a phone number.
12. Confirm consent to use the specified phone number.
13. Click Confirm phone number.
14. Confirm the phone number using the suggested method.
15. For the Account Owner, two-step authentication via email will be automatically enabled.
16. To start using Selectel products and services, top up your balance with a minimum amount of 200 ₽. This money will remain on your balance, and you can spend it to pay for Selectel products and services.

Business account

1. On selectel.ru, in the upper-right corner, click Create account.
2. Fill out the registration form.
3. Click Create account.
4. We will send an email with a confirmation link to the specified email address.
5. In the email, click Confirm email. The confirmation link can only be used once.
6. In the Personal information section, select the country of residence.
7. Choose the account type. The type cannot be changed later.
8. For a business account with Russian residency, enter the TIN (INN) and select an organization from the list. Fields with all organization details will be filled automatically. If the fields with details do not appear, click Enter details and enter the data manually.
9. For a business account with non-Russian residency, enter the details manually.
10. Accept the terms.
11. Click Continue.
12. Enter the contact person's full name.
13. Enter a phone number.
14. Confirm consent to use the specified phone number.
15. Click Confirm phone number.
16. Confirm the phone number using the suggested method.
17. For the Account Owner, two-step authentication via email will be automatically enabled.
18. To start using Selectel products and services, top up your balance with a minimum amount of 200 ₽. This money will remain on your balance, and you can spend it to pay for Selectel products and services.

Join an account by invitation

A new user can be invited to the account by the Account Owner or a user with the iam.admin role. After the invitation, the user will receive an email with the account number and a confirmation link.

User permissions are determined by the user sending the invitation.

1. In the email, click Confirm email.
2. Enter a password.
3. Click Continue.
4. Enter the requested details. The phone number must be unique within an account — an account cannot have two users with the same phone number.
5. Click Request code.
6. We will send an SMS to the specified phone number.
7. Enter the received code.
8. For the invited user, two-step authentication via email is automatically enabled.
9. To receive email notifications, subscribe to notification categories.
