Get a reference to an object
You can:
- get a reference to an object in a public container — all objects are accessible via public domains vaults;
- create a reference to an object in a private container — object will be available by reference via public domain of the container which you can make one-time or time-limited.
We do not recommend using Cyrillic characters in object names. If you use Cyrillic, encode the Cyrillic part of the reference to work with references to such objects.

Get a reference to an object in a private container
An object in a private container will be accessible through the public domain of the container — by a link of the form https://<uuid>.selstorage.ru/<object_name>
.
When you first create a reference to an object in a private container, a public container is automatically created in the project links
. The created reference is added to it as an object with the same name as the main object. Objects in a container links
are zero-sized and do not consume storage capacity. If you configure the reference as temporary, the referenced object will automatically be removed from the container links
when the link stops working.
