Configure network access to the Redis cluster
Configure network access to the Redis cluster
By default, in clusters with a public subnet, connectivity is allowed for all addresses as long as a username and password are provided.
Connections to the cluster on the private subnet are allowed from the cluster subnet and from those subnets that are connected to the cluster subnet by the cloud router.
You can limit the list of addresses from which access to the database cluster will be allowed. When restoring the cluster from a backup, the list of addresses will not be saved — the addresses will have to be entered again for the new cluster.
- In control panel go to Cloud platform → Databases.
- Open the Database Cluster page → tab Settings.
- In the block Network access control click on the box Allowed addresses and CIDRs of subnets.
- At the bottom of the drop-down list, enter the CIDR of the subnet or IP address from which access to the cluster should be allowed. Only IPv4 addressing is supported.
- Click .
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all authorized addresses.
- Click Save. All addresses other than those specified in the list of allowed addresses will be denied connection.
