Change security group mode

The group mode (stateful or stateless) can only be changed via OpenStack CLI.

  1. Open the OpenStack CLI.

  2. Change the security group:

    openstack security group set \
      [--stateful | --stateless]
      <security_group>

    Specify:

    • new group mode — --stateful or --stateless;
    • <security_group> — security group ID, can be viewed using the command openstack security group list.
