Delete DNS zone

The zone is deleted with all DNS records in it.

A zone cannot be deleted if at least one private network is added to it.

  1. In the Dashboard, on the top menu, click Products and select Cloud Servers.

  2. Go to the Private DNS section.

  3. Open the DNS zone page.

  4. If private networks are listed in the Networks block, remove them from the zone:

    4.1 To the right of the network name, click .

    4.2 Under the DNS zone field, check the box Remove from zone....

    4.3 Enter the network name to confirm the deletion.

    4.4 Click Save.

    4.5 If there are still networks in the zone, repeat steps 4.1-4.4 for each of them.

  5. In the upper right corner, click .

  6. Click Delete.
