Restore a network drive from backup
When restoring from network disk backups in single-zone pools, a new disk of the same type and size as the original disk is created. In a multi-zone pool, restoring from a backup can create a disk of a different type and in a different segment of the pool.
Backup recovery time depends on the backup size. For example, a 100 GB backup will be restored in 11 minutes. During recovery, the network disk for which the backup was created will be in the RESTORING-BACKUP status.
You cannot restore from a backup to the original disk or to a new cloud server. You can connect the recovered disk to a cloud server or create a new server from it.
