Manage access to cloud server network volume backups

Access to network volume backups is governed by a role model that defines access within an account and project. Read more in the Access Control in Selectel Products instruction.

member

A user with full access to all services. Does not have management access to: users, service users, user groups, and federations.

In the Account access scope:

  • view a list of all backups and information about them: backup type, size, connected backup plans, status;
  • creating backups;
  • managing backups;
  • view a list of all backup plans;

In the Project access scope:

  • view a list of all backups and information about them: backup type, size, connected backup plans, status;
  • creating backups;
  • managing backups;
  • view a list of all backup plans;
  • creating backup plans;
  • managing backup plans

reader

User with access to view everything that a member can manage in the same access scope.

iam.admin

A user with access to manage users and no access to services or billing. Cannot manage their account: change permissions, manage notifications, or delete the user. The first user with the iam.admin role is created by the Account Owner.
