Manage catalogs in a Trino cluster
You can add catalogs when creating a cluster or in an existing cluster. If necessary, you can edit or delete a catalog.
By default, a Trino cluster can connect to external data sources from catalogs over the internet — no additional configuration is required.
Add a catalog to an existing cluster
-
In the Control panel, from the top menu, click Products and select Trino.
-
Open the cluster page → Catalogs tab.
-
Click Add catalog.
-
Enter the catalog name. The name can contain:
- only lowercase Latin letters;
- digits;
- underscores;
- up to 63 characters.
-
Optional: enter a description for the catalog.
-
Select the connector type.
-
Specify connection parameters for the data source. Connection parameters vary depending on the selected connector.
If the catalog requires additional connector parameters that are not available in the Control panel, create a ticket. In the ticket, specify the connector type and the required parameters.
