Connect to a Redash cluster

You can connect to a Redash cluster only via the GUI. To do this, external access must be enabled. You can enable it when creating a cluster or in an existing cluster. If necessary, you can disable external access.

Enable external access in an existing cluster

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Redash.

  2. Open the cluster page → Configuration tab.

  3. In the External access line, click Connect.

Disable external access

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Redash.

  2. Open the cluster page → Configuration tab.

  3. In the External access line, click .

  4. Click Disable.

Connect to the GUI

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Redash.

  2. In the cluster card, in the GUI column, click .

  3. Enter the administrator email — specified when creating the cluster. You can view it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Redash → cluster page → Connection tab.

  4. Enter the administrator password — specified when creating the cluster. After the cluster is created, the password cannot be viewed in the control panel, but you can change it.

  5. Click Log In.
