Change Hive Metastore cluster configuration

In a Hive Metastore cluster, you can:

  • change the Hive Metastore configuration — decrease or increase the number of vCPUs and RAM;

  • change the PostgreSQL database configuration — the disk size must not be smaller than in the previous configuration. The number of vCPUs and RAM can be decreased or increased.

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Hive Metastore.

  2. Open the cluster page → Configuration tab.

  3. In the Cluster section, click Change configuration.

  4. Select the Hive Metastore configuration.

  5. Select a PostgreSQL configuration with the same disk size or larger than in the previous configuration. The number of vCPUs and RAM can be decreased or increased.

  6. Click Save.
