Technological Log
The technological log is used to analyze 1C system errors, performance, and crashes. It contains logs of requests, server calls, lock waits, and deadlocks.
You can schedule or cancel technological log collection in the Control Panel. Only one technological log collection can be scheduled in a cluster at a time. To schedule a new collection, wait for the current one to complete or cancel it.
How it works
The Logs service is used to collect and store technological logs. For more information on how the service works and its pricing, see the Logs service description guide.
Technological log collection configuration consists of a logcfg.xml configuration file and a time interval for which logs will be collected. The interval cannot exceed seven days.
You can use ready-made templates with logcfg.xml file settings or upload your own settings. You can also edit the settings in a selected template or from an uploaded file. Edited settings cannot be saved as templates for other technological log collections.
The path to logs in the logcfg.xml file is automatically overwritten by the system for storage in the Logs service. You cannot use a custom path for log storage.
During technological log collection, logs are collected into a file on the cluster disk and simultaneously transferred to the Logs service. The log file size does not exceed 1 GB. Once the collection is complete, the log file is stored on the cluster disk for two hours and then deleted.
Logs can be retrieved only through the Logs service. By default, logs are stored in the service for 30 days. You can change the log retention period in the Control Panel.
Technological log collection terminates automatically when disk usage reaches 79% to prevent autoscaling. Read more about autoscaling in the Configure 1C cluster disk autoscaling guide.
Schedule technological log collection
Technological log collection increases the load on the cluster and may reduce its performance or cause cluster failure.
Only one technological log collection can be scheduled in a cluster at a time. To schedule a new collection, wait for the current one to complete or cancel it.
Technological log collection is unavailable if the cluster disk is more than 79% full. To schedule a collection, clear the disk or scale the cluster and choose a configuration with a larger disk size than the previous one.
When configuring technological log collection, you can use predefined templates with logcfg.xml file settings or upload your own settings.
