# Create a 1C infobase
1. In the [control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/ones/base), on the top menu, click **Products** and select **1C Managed Cloud**.
2. Go to the **Infobases** section.
3. Click **Create infobase**.
4. Complete the setup steps:
* [1C server cluster](#cluster);
* [Database](#database);
* [Creating resources](#create-resources);
* [Licenses](#licenses);
* [Infobase name](#infobase-name).
## 1C server cluster \{#cluster}
You can select an existing 1C server cluster or create a new one.
Existing cluster
1. Select the [region and pool](/infrastructure/locations.mdx) where the 1C server cluster is located.
2. Select a 1C server cluster from the list.
3. Click **Continue**.
New cluster
1. Enter the cluster name. It will only be displayed in the control panel.
2. Select the [region and pool](/infrastructure/locations.mdx) in which the 1C server cluster will be created.
3. Select the 1C:Enterprise version. If the required version is not in the list, [create a ticket](https://my.selectel.ru/tickets/create/), and we will consider adding it to the list.
4. Select the cluster [configuration](/cloud-1c/about/configurations.mdx#cluster-configurations):
* fixed — Standard or HighFreq configuration line, fixed resource ratio of up to 12 vCPUs, 128 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of network volume capacity;
* custom — select any resource ratio of up to 12 vCPUs, 128 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of network volume capacity.
The cluster uses 90% of the selected RAM; the remaining 10% is reserved for the Apache web server, which handles web publications of infobases.
5. Click **Continue**.
## Database \{#database}
You can select an existing database or create a new one.
Existing database
1. Select a database from the list.
2. Click **Continue**.
New database
1. Enter the database name. It will only be used in the control panel.
2. Select the database [configuration](/cloud-1c/about/configurations.mdx#database-configurations):
* fixed — Standard or HighFreq configuration line, fixed resource ratio of up to 24 vCPUs, 208 GB of RAM, and 2 TB of local disk capacity;
* custom — select any resource ratio of up to 20 vCPUs, 256 GB of RAM, and 1.23 TB of local disk capacity.
3. Optional: to create a database replica, check the **Add replica** box in the **Fault Tolerance** block. If the master node becomes unavailable, the replica will take over its role and the database will continue to operate as usual.
4. Click **Continue**.
## Creating resources \{#create-resources}
1. If you created new resources while creating an infobase, in the **Price** block:
1.1. Check the price of the new resources. 1.2. If you created:
* only a new 1C server cluster, click **Create cluster**;
* only a new database, click **Create database**;
* a new 1C server cluster and a new database, click **Create resources**.
2. Wait until all resources have the `ACTIVE` status.
3. Click **Continue**.
## Licenses \{#licenses}
You can activate your own licenses or create a request to rent licenses. Licenses can be activated and ordered after creating an infobase by following the [Activate 1C license](/cloud-1c/cluster/activate-license.mdx) instructions.
One 1C server cluster requires one server license and at least one user license.Temporary free licenses and the Server MINI license are not supported.
Rent licenses
1. In the **License rental** block, click **Create request**.
2. Specify the number of user licenses.
3. If you need a server license, check the **Server license** box.
4. Select the license edition.
5. Select the required 1C configurations.
6. Click **Create request**. We will create a ticket in which we will clarify the details, and we will activate the licenses on your cluster on business days from 9:00 to 18:00 Moscow time.
7. Click **Continue**.
Activate your own licenses
If you are reactivating a license, the data must completely match what you entered during the first activation.
To activate, you can enter the license registration data or use an activation command.
Enter registration data
1. In the **License activation** block, click **Activate license**.
2. Select an activation method — **Registration data**.
3. Select who holds the license — **Company** or **Private individual**.
4. If the license holder is a company, enter its name.
5. In the Owner data block:
5.1. Enter the full name of the license holder — for example, the company employee responsible for 1C operations.
5.2. Enter the license holder's email. This email can be used to [obtain license holder data](https://portal.1c.ru/support/license/) and the status of PIN codes, as well as to receive backup PIN codes.
6. In the Address block, specify the mailing address for paper correspondence.
7. In the License kit block:
7.1. Enter the kit number (license registration number).
7.2. Enter the PIN code. If you have already activated this license before, use the next PIN code from the kit.
7.3. If you are using the next PIN code from the kit, enter the previous PIN code — the one you used for the previous activation. If you are activating the license for the first time, leave the field empty.
8. If you are activating a license for the first time, save the data you entered — for example, take a screenshot.
9. Click **Activate licenses**.
10. If you need to activate another license, repeat steps 1–9.
11. Click **Continue**.
Use activation command
1. In the **License activation** block, click **Activate license**.
2. Select an activation method — **Activation command**.
3. Enter the activation command, for example:

Where:
* `--company`, `--town`, `--country`, `--zip-code`, `--street`, `--house`, `--email` — license holder data;
* `--serial`, `--pin`, `--previous-pin` — license registration data. If the license is being activated for the first time, the `--previous-pin` parameter is not specified.
4. If you are activating a license for the first time, save the data you entered — for example, take a screenshot.
5. Click **Activate licenses**.
6. If you need to activate another license, repeat steps 1–5.
7. Click **Continue**.
## Infobase name \{#infobase-name}
1. Enter the infobase name.
2. Click **Create infobase**.
