Configure 1C database volume autoscaling

How it works

Autoscaling is available and enabled by default for Standard line configuration databases; if necessary, it can be enabled and disabled manually.

If the database volume reaches 80% capacity within 3 hours, a scaling task will be created to prevent downtime. The volume will be increased by 15% of its current size, but by at least 20 GB.

The scaling task will appear in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → 1C Cloud → Databases section → database page → Maintenance tab, and it will be performed during the next maintenance window. Increasing the 1C database disk in the Control panel before scaling begins will cancel the task.

Autoscaling will disable automatically if the configuration is changed to the HighFreq line or upon reaching the maximum volume size of 1.23 To.

You cannot reduce the volume size after autoscaling, as this may compromise the integrity of the volume's file system and data — you can create a new database with a smaller volume.

Enable autoscaling

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Ready-made 1C Cloud.
  2. Go to the Databases section.
  3. Open the database page → Settings tab.
  4. In the Disk autoscaling row, click .
  5. Select the Enable checkbox.
  6. Click .

Disable autoscaling

  1. In the Control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select 1C Cloud.
  2. Go to the Databases section.
  3. Open the database page → Settings tab.
  4. In the Disk autoscaling row, click .
  5. Clear the Enable checkbox.
  6. Click .
