Sobol Hardware-Software Complex

Sobol hardware-software complex (HSC) is a trusted boot module that can be installed on a custom dedicated server hosted in the Certified Data Center Segment (A-CDC). The Sobol HSC has an FSB of Russia certificate and can be used to raise the cryptographic protection level to KS2 and KS3 classes.

Sobol HSC allows you to:

  • identify and authenticate users before the operating system boots;
  • verify the authenticity and integrity of the OS being loaded and the hardware components of the server, and block OS booting in case of violations;
  • forbid OS booting from external media;
  • log security events.

The module can only be added when ordering a server in the Certified Data Center Segment; it cannot be installed in an existing server. The module is compatible with most motherboards used in servers in the Certified Data Center Segment. To get help with choosing a configuration, create a ticket in the Control Panel or contact us.

Cost

The service is paid for together with the dedicated server in which the module is installed, according to the dedicated server payment model and pricing.

Order a service

To order a server in the A-CDC with the Sobol HSC, follow the instructions in Order servers in the A-CDC. In the request, specify that you require an additional information security tool — the Sobol HSC.

Cancel a service

If you want to cancel the service but continue using the server, create a ticket. We will coordinate a time for the work with you and temporarily take the server offline to remove the module. During this time, the server will be unavailable.

If you want to cancel the server in the C-DC segment completely, use the instructions Cancel a C-DC segment.

Funds are returned only for full unused months.
