Dallas Lock Trusted Boot Tool

The Dallas Lock trusted boot module (TBM) is a hardware and software module that can be installed in a custom dedicated server hosted in the Certified Data Center Segment (CDCS).

Dallas Lock allows you to:

  • identify and authenticate users before the operating system boots;
  • verify the authenticity and integrity of the OS being loaded and the server's hardware components, and block OS boot in case of violations;
  • log security events.

The module can only be added when ordering a server in the certified data center segment; it cannot be installed in an existing server. The module is compatible with most motherboards used in certified data center segment servers. For help choosing a configuration, submit a ticket in the control panel or contact us.

Pricing

The service is paid for together with the dedicated server where the module is installed, according to the dedicated server payment model and pricing.

Order a service

To order a server in the certified data center segment with the Dallas Lock TBM, follow the Order servers in the certified data center segment instructions. In the request, specify that you require an additional information security tool — the Dallas Lock trusted boot module.

Cancel a service

If you want to cancel the service and continue using the server, submit a ticket. We will coordinate the maintenance time with you and temporarily dismount the server to remove the module. The server will be unavailable during maintenance.

If you want to completely cancel the server in the certified data center segment, follow the Disable certified data center segment instructions.

Refunds are issued only for full unused months.
