Astra Linux Special Edition is a certified OS with built-in information security tools (SZI) for handling confidential information. Learn more in the Astra Linux documentation.

You can order the Astra Linux OS installation service from us or purchase an Astra Linux license yourself and manually install the OS from your own image onto your server. We provide Astra Linux Special Edition versions Orel 1.8, Voronezh 1.8, Smolensk 1.8.

To install Astra Linux OS on multiple servers, order the OS installation service for each server.

If you no longer need Astra Linux OS, cancel the service. If you have cancelled dedicated server hosting in the A-DC, Astra Linux OS is not automatically cancelled—you must cancel the service yourself.

Pricing

The Astra Linux OS access service is billed separately from the dedicated server tariff plan. Astra Linux OS prices can be viewed on selectel.ru.

Documents

Documents are provided upon request for certified versions of Astra Linux OS:

  • installation report;
  • form.

For non-certified OS versions, no documents are provided.

Order Astra Linux OS installation service

  1. Create a ticket to order the Astra Linux OS installation service. In the request, specify the Astra Linux OS version and the number of servers on which to install the OS.

  2. If the OS is to be installed on a server you previously deployed in the A-DC, a Selectel employee will contact you to coordinate a convenient time for the work.

  3. Wait for confirmation from a Selectel employee that Astra Linux OS has been installed on your server.

Install Astra Linux OS

You can request the installation of Astra Linux OS if your server currently has another OS or if you need to reinstall Astra Linux OS.

  1. Create a ticket requesting the installation of Astra Linux OS.

  2. In the ticket, coordinate a convenient time for the OS installation.

  3. Optional: to prevent data loss on the server, save your data or create a backup before installing the OS.

  4. Wait for confirmation from a Selectel employee that Astra Linux OS has been installed on your server.

Cancel the service

The service will remain active until the end of the paid period after cancellation. During this period, you can continue to use Astra Linux OS, but by the end of the paid period, a different OS must be installed on the server.

  1. Optional: if Astra Linux OS is installed on the server, install a different OS.

  2. Create a ticket requesting the cancellation of the Astra Linux OS access service.

  3. If Astra Linux OS is still installed on your server, a Selectel employee will contact you to coordinate a convenient time for installing a different OS. Make sure your data is backed up.

  4. Wait for confirmation from a Selectel employee that the access service for Astra Linux OS installation has been disabled.
