CDN payment and pricing model
Balance
For CDN payments, depending on the type of balance in the account, a single balance or the balance of the storage and CDN is used.
You can pay for CDN with different types of funds: basic funds, bonuses.
Before you start using the CDN , top up your balance with 500 ₽ for each resource you plan to create.
Payment Model
CDN is paid monthly according to the tariff plan. The tariff plan determines the payment amount and traffic package for the CDN resource. Additional traffic, which is consumed in excess of the tariff plan, is charged and paid for separately.
When you create your first CDN resource and it becomes ACTIVE, a traffic package becomes available for the resource according to the tariff plan. The first plan payment is debited on the first day of the next calendar month. The next payments under the tariff plan are deducted automatically on the first day of each month. Charging occurs if there are ACTIVE resources in the account.
To stop being charged, disable all CDN resources in your account.
Rate plan
The tariff plan includes a package of traffic that is spent on all CDN resources in the account. The package includes:
- 100 GB of source traffic - from content source to CDN servers;
- 800 GB of external traffic - from CDN servers to users.
Additional traffic
Additional traffic - traffic that is consumed in excess of the tariff plan. Additional traffic is charged per GB and is paid separately under the pay-as-you-go model. Charges are made with a 24-hour delay due to the peculiarities of collecting consumption data from CDN servers.
Blocking CDN if there are insufficient funds on the balance
If the balance of the service is insufficient at the time of debiting, the creation of new CDN resources will be blocked. At the same time, already created CDN resources will continue to work, and additional traffic will be charged as debt. After 14 days from the moment of insufficient funds, the resources will be disconnected with full cache clearing.
If you do not replenish your balance by the amount owed within 30 days of the shortage, all CDN resources will be deleted without the possibility of restoration. As long as the disabled resources have not been deleted, you can pay the debt and reactivate them.
You can set up balance notifications so you don't miss recharges.
For example, you used up your package of basic traffic under the tariff on June 15. Let's assume that on June 18 your balance was insufficient to pay for additional traffic. Creation of new CDN resources for you was blocked. Existing resources continued to work, but additional traffic for these resources started to be charged as debt. On July 1, the monthly tariff payment was added to the debt.
On July 3, 14 days after the debt was incurred, the resources were disconnected with cache clearing. Let's say the amount of the debt was 710 ₽ - for the traffic package and additional traffic. Within three days from July 3, the system received accurate consumption data, and the debt amount grew to 715 rubles. On July 19, 30 days after the debt was created, the debt was still not paid, the resources were deleted with no possibility of recovery.
Resume CDN operation
- Refill the balance from which to pay for the service.. The amount of the debt will be deducted from the balance immediately after replenishment.
- Wait for the service to be activated, it can take up to 20 minutes.
- Enable CDN resource.
Prices
The price of a CDN adds up:
- from the cost of the tariff plan - a fixed price for each resource;
- cost of additional traffic. The price per 1 GB is set for each consumption range (up to 10 TB, 10 to 30 TB, etc.). When the consumption reaches the next threshold, the price per 1 GB decreases.
