Create a network volume

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Dedicated servers.

  2. Go to Network drives and storage systems → Network drives tab.

  3. Click Create network drive.

  4. Select the drive location — availability zone. The network drive must be located in the same availability zone as the server it will be connected to.

  5. Select the disk type:

    • Basic HDD – for storing large amounts of data that do not require frequent read or write operations;
    • Fast SSD – for operations that require high read and write speeds.

    Drives differ in read/write speed and bandwidth values. For more information, see the Network drive limits table.

  6. Specify the disk size in GB or TB. After a network volume is created, you can only increase its size. You cannot decrease the size of a network volume.

  7. Enter a new disk name or keep the default name.

  8. Optional: enter a comment.

  9. Click Create drive.
