Create a network volume
-
In the Control panel, from the top menu, click Products and select Dedicated Servers.
-
Go to the Network Volumes and Storage section → the Network Volumes tab.
-
Click Create network volume.
-
Select the disk location — availability zone. The network volume must be located in the same availability zone as the server to which it will be connected.
-
Select the disk type:
- Basic HDD – for storing large amounts of data that do not require frequent read or write operations;
- Fast SSD – for operations that require high read and write speeds.
The disks differ in read/write speeds and bandwidth values. For more details, see the Network Volume Limits table.
-
Specify the disk size in GB or TB. After creating a network volume, you will only be able to increase its size. You will not be able to decrease the size of a network volume.
-
Enter a new disk name or keep the default name.
-
Optional: enter a comment.
-
Click Create volume.
