General information about the Accessibility Check service

With the Availability Checking (formerly Monitoring) service, you can check the availability of various services from several locations on the Internet and set up mailings about the results of the checks.

You can also order a service administration service so that Selectel specialists can create a monitoring system for your services.

Checks

Validation is a set of conditions for testing a service for availability from different locations on the Internet.

There are 17 types of checks available.

DNSCorrectness of domain name to IP address conversion
HTTP GETContent and response code, search for substring in returned data
HTTP HEADLightweight GET request, checks if a document is available on the server by response code without loading the document body
HTTP Basic AuthorizationBasic authorization mechanism

FTPFTP server availability

Cost

The service is paid monthly, the cost depends on the number of created checks, regardless of the number of check requests. The first three checks per month are free of charge.

You can view the cost and pay for checks in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Accessibility Checks → Order Checks.

If you want to receive check newsletters via SMS, you need to pay for SMS packages in addition.To view the cost and pay for SMS, you can do this in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Accessibility Checks → Reports and Newsletters → in the top right corner, click Order SMS.
