Manage limits in AI Router

A limit is a monetary amount in rubles within which you restrict the usage of AI Router API keys.

There are two types of limits:

  • common limit — a limit upon reaching which API requests using all existing API keys will stop being processed, even if the limits on the keys themselves have not yet been reached;
  • API key limit — a limit on a specific API key, upon reaching which API requests using this key will stop being processed.

The limit is considered reached when the total consumption for the current month reaches or exceeds the set value. To view actual consumption for the current month of AI Router usage, use the View AI Router consumption guide.

By default, limits are set to zero — you can use router API keys without restrictions as long as there is money on your balance.

To control costs, you can:

Change common limit

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select AI Router.

  3. In the From budget row, click .

  4. Enter the new limit value in rubles.

  5. Click .

Change API key limit

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select AI Router.

  2. In the AI Router section, open the AI Router page → tab Keys and Limits.

  3. In the menu for the API key, select Change limit.

  4. Enter the new limit value in rubles.

  5. Click .
