# Create a project

After registering in the Control Panel, a project is automatically created in your account. To be able to create up to 20 projects, [create a ticket](https://my.selectel.ru/tickets/create/). If you need to create more than 20 projects, the limit can be increased later.

1. In the [control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/iam/projects), on the top menu, click **IAM**.
2. Go to the **Projects** section.
3. Click **Create Project**.
4. Enter a project name. It must be unique for the account.
5. Optional: enter a project description.
6. Click **Create**.
