# Order and activate licenses
Dedicated server
1. [In the Control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/servers/servers/), on the top menu, click **Products** and select **Dedicated Servers**.
2. Open the server page → **Services** tab.
3. In the **Available for order** block, in the **1C Licenses** row, click **Connect**.
4. Select the license edition.
5. Specify the required number of user and server licenses.
6. Optional: select the required configurations (standard 1C application solutions).
7. Select the connection protocol to the server depending on the OS:
* for Linux — SSH;
* for Windows — RDP.
8. Enter the public IP address to access the server.
9. Enter the username with administrator privileges.
10. Enter your password.
11. Optional: in the **Comment** field, enter any additional information, for example, the time when we can connect to the server to activate the licenses.
12. Check the data and click **Pay**.
13. We will create and send you a ticket to clarify the order details and coordinate the time for license activation on your server. We will notify you in the same ticket once the licenses have been activated.
Cloud server
1. In the [Control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/vpc/default/licenses/), on the top menu, click **Products** and select **Cloud Servers**.
2. Go to the **Services** section.
3. In the **Rental of 1C:Enterprise 8 PROF and CORP level licenses** row, click the **Order** button.
4. Select the license edition.
5. Specify the required number of user and server licenses.
6. Select the [region and pool](/infrastructure/locations.mdx) where the cloud server is located on which you need to activate the licenses.
7. Specify the cloud server name.
8. Select the operating system installed on the server.
9. Select the connection protocol to the server depending on the OS:
* for Linux — SSH;
* for Windows — RDP.
10. Enter the public IP address to access the server.
11. Enter the username with administrator privileges.
12. Enter your password.
13. Optional: in the **Comment** field, enter any additional information, for example, the time when we can connect to the server to activate the licenses.
14. Check the data and click **Pay**.
15. We will create and send you a ticket to clarify the order details and coordinate the time for license activation on your server. We will notify you in the same ticket once the licenses have been activated.
16. Optional: if you have rented user licenses, you can [receive standard application solutions](/1c-license-rental/get-configuration.mdx) for free.
Cloud for 1C
VMware-based Cloud
1. In the [Control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/vmware/public/), on the top menu, click **Products** and select **VMware-based Cloud**.
2. Go to the **Licensing and GPU** section.
3. In the **Rental of 1C:Enterprise 8 PROF and CORP level licenses** row, click the **Order** button.
4. Select the license edition.
5. Specify the required number of user and server licenses.
6. Select a data center.
7. Select the OS used on the data center virtual machine.
8. Select the connection protocol to the virtual machine depending on the OS:
* for Linux — SSH;
* for Windows — RDP.
9. Enter the public IP address to access the virtual machine.
10. Enter the username with administrator privileges.
11. Enter your password.
12. Optional: in the **Comment** field, enter any additional information, for example, the time when we can connect to the virtual machine to activate the licenses.
13. Check the data and click **Pay**.
14. We will create and send you a ticket to clarify the order details and coordinate the time for license activation on your server. We will notify you in the same ticket once the licenses have been activated.
15. Optional: if you have rented user licenses, you can [receive standard application solutions](/1c-license-rental/get-configuration.mdx) for free.
Colocation
1. [In the Control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/cloud-servers/colocation/), on the top menu, click **Products** and select **Colocation**.
2. Open the server page → **Services** tab.
3. In the **Software Licenses** block, in the **1C Licenses** row, click **Connect**.
4. Select the license edition.
5. Specify the required number of user and server licenses.
6. Select the connection protocol to the server depending on its OS:
* for Linux — SSH;
* for Windows — RDP.
7. Enter the public IP address to access the server.
8. Enter the username with administrator privileges.
9. Enter your password.
10. Optional: in the **Comment** field, enter any additional information, for example, the time when we can connect to the server to activate the licenses.
11. Check the data and click **Pay**.
